Ex Certification & Global Market Access Scorecard
A short self-assessment of your readiness for Ex certification and global market access across ATEX, IECEx and applicable national or regional Ex approval routes.
This scorecard gives you three things: an Ex readiness score based on your controls, evidence and lifecycle maturity, a product and approval complexity indicator, and a certification profile across the routes you use. A more complex or multi-market product does not reduce your readiness score. It simply reflects the product and the markets you serve.
What is certificate and approval review status?
Certificate and approval review status means whether the standards, scheme requirements and product evidence behind an approval remain suitable for the product and markets served. A change in standards, scheme requirements or product design may require review, but does not automatically mean the approval is invalid.
This is our framing of the mechanism described in the ATEX 2014/34/EU Guidelines and the applicable Ex schemes, not a phrase from the directive itself.

Who is this for?
Manufacturers placing equipment, protective systems, components or Ex-related safety and control devices for explosive atmospheres on the market, whether through ATEX, IECEx, or national and regional routes such as USA and Canada hazardous-location certification, UKEX, CCC-Ex, JPEx, INMETRO or ECAS-Ex. The live risk is rarely a single deadline. It is that changes in standards, scheme requirements or product design go unreviewed, so it is no longer clear whether an approval remains suitable for the product and markets served.
